In the age of viral content and digital speculation, Silang, Cavite finds itself at the center of a brewing controversy\u2014one fueled not by facts, but by a misleading image circulating online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A photo allegedly showing a resolution to oust Mayor Ted Carranza has made rounds on social media, with claims that Vice Mayor Cris “Kidlat” Reyes was behind the move. But Reyes has come forward to categorically deny the allegations, calling the rumors baseless and harmful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI did not file, sign, or support any resolution against Mayor Carranza,\u201d Reyes stated in an official press release, aiming to put an end to the growing confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that such false narratives only serve to divide the community and distract from the real work of governance. \u201cSpeculations like these have no foundation and do not help our mission to serve the people of Silang with integrity,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reyes reiterated his commitment to unity, respect, and the advancement of programs that benefit the town. He urged the public to be discerning and responsible when consuming information online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
