Among the key areas of cooperation discussed were the establishment of a Barangay Information Officers\u2019 Network, the reorganization of the Laguna Information Officers\u2019 Network, and the continued rollout of the PCO\u2019s \u201cMaging Mapanuri\u201d media and information literacy campaign. These initiatives aim to build resilient communities equipped to discern truth from misinformation, especially on social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor Aragones welcomed the partnership, recognizing PIA\u2019s role in amplifying government services and ensuring that accurate, timely information reaches the public. She stressed that strategic communication is essential in curbing the spread of false narratives and in promoting transparency under her administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was attended by key regional and provincial information officers, including PIA CALABARZON Regional Head Ma.
