(FFCCCII) called today for urgent national reforms following the government\u2019s recent revision of economic growth targets for 2026\u20132028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government now projects 5\u20136% growth in 2026, rising to 6\u20137% by 2028, citing the lingering impact of the DPWH flood-control corruption scandal and global trade uncertainties. FFCCCII warned that these figures must not limit the nation\u2019s ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTo truly transform lives, the Philippines must aim for 8% growth or more,\u201d said [Spokesperson Name], FFCCCII. \u201cAmbition is not optional\u2014it is necessary for meaningful job creation, poverty reduction, and inclusive prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While supporting the government\u2019s focus on health, education, and employment, FFCCCII stressed that inclusivity can only emerge from a strong, fast-growing economy.
