Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital Turns Over New BUCAS Center and Kawit Primary Care Facility
Kawit, Cavite – March 16, 2026 – The Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital formally turned over the newly established Kawit Kalayaan Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Service (BUCAS) Center in a ceremony held on Monday, March 16.
The event was graced by Congressman Jolo Revilla, Kawit Mayor Armie Aguinaldo, provincial government officials, and hospital personnel, underscoring the collaborative effort to strengthen healthcare services in Cavite.
Alongside the turnover, the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Kawit Primary Care Facility was also conducted. This facility is designed to cater to outpatient health needs and is set to become a PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) clinic, ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for the people of Kawit.
Congressman Jolo Revilla highlighted the importance of expanding medical services closer to communities, while Mayor Armie Aguinaldo reaffirmed his commitment to providing “Alagang Armie Aguinaldo”—a brand of governance rooted in compassion and service.
