Cavite City Strengthens Safety with New Bridge Construction in Quadra

Cavite City, Philippines – Mayor Denver Chua has announced the ongoing construction of a new bridge in Quadra, Barangay 22-M, as part of the city’s continuing commitment to public safety and infrastructure improvement.

The project, which replaces the damaged bridge in the area, is designed to provide a safer and more reliable passage for residents, particularly schoolchildren who use the route daily. Mayor Chua emphasized that ensuring secure and accessible pathways is a vital step toward protecting the welfare of every Caviteño.

“Alam natin na mahalaga ang maayos at ligtas na daanan para sa komunidad. Kaya tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagkilos upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan,” Mayor Chua stated.

This initiative is part of a broader citywide program to rehabilitate and upgrade bridges across Cavite City. In the coming months, several other bridges in different barangays will undergo repair and reconstruction, further strengthening the city’s infrastructure network.

Mayor Chua highlighted that these projects reflect the administration’s dedication to building a safer, more resilient, and more livable Cavite City.

The bridge construction in Quadra is expected to significantly ease daily travel for residents and contribute to the city’s long-term development goals.
