Cavite City Celebrates Filipino Elderly Week with Gratitude and Care
Cavite City, Philippines – The City Government of Cavite City, under the leadership of Mayor Denver Chua, proudly joined the nationwide observance of Filipino Elderly Week, honoring the invaluable contributions of senior citizens to the city’s history, progress, and community life.
Mayor Chua emphasized the importance of recognizing the role of the elderly in shaping Cavite City: “Ang ating mga senior citizen ay hindi lamang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan, sila rin ang pundasyon ng ating kinabukasan. Sa kanilang sakripisyo, pagmamahal, at dedikasyon, nararapat lamang na sila ay ating pahalagahan at iparamdam na sila ay mahalaga at hindi nakakalimutan.”
