Senator Bong Go Extends Educational Aid to Nearly 3,000 Students in Maragondon, Cavite

In a show of continued commitment to youth empowerment, Senator Bong Go personally distributed educational assistance to 2,930 senior high school and college students at the Municipal Gym of Maragondon, Cavite on Thursday, October 16. The event was part of his ongoing advocacy to support Filipino youth in their pursuit of education.

As the adopted son of Maragondon and CALABARZON, and Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Youth, Senator Go emphasized the importance of education as a key to a better future. He reiterated his belief that investing in the youth is investing in the nation’s progress, citing his legislative efforts to strengthen both the education and health sectors.

The senator highlighted several laws and proposals he has championed, including measures aimed at improving access to quality education and healthcare services. These initiatives, he said, are designed to uplift communities and ensure that no Filipino is left behind, especially in rural and underserved areas.

Local officials, including Mayor Lawrence Arca and Councilor Miguel Arca, joined the event alongside other members of the Sangguniang Bayan. Their presence underscored the strong collaboration between national and local governments in addressing the needs of young Filipinos.

Students and parents expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting that the support would help ease financial burdens and motivate learners to continue their studies. The event also served as a platform to inspire youth to become active contributors to their communities.

Senator Go concluded his visit by reaffirming his commitment to public service, echoing his signature mantra, “Bisyo ang Magserbisyo.” He encouraged the youth to dream big and work hard, assuring them that the government remains a steadfast ally in their journey toward success.
