Naic Holds First Local School Board Meeting of 2026 Led by Mayor Rommel Magbitang

Naic, Cavite – January 23, 2026 – The Municipality of Naic officially opened the year with its first Local School Board (LSB) meeting, spearheaded by Mayor Rommel Magbitang. The gathering brought together key education leaders, including Public School District Supervisors Dr. Helen C. Aure, Dr. Arnel P. Zapanta, and Dr. Alma V. Lopez, to discuss vital matters concerning public education in the town.  

The meeting focused on the 2026 Special Education Fund (SEF) budget, ensuring that resources are properly allocated to support schools, teachers, and students. Alongside financial planning, the board reviewed the status of 2025 programs and activities, highlighting accomplishments and identifying areas for improvement.  

Mayor Magbitang emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration between the local government and the education sector. He underscored that education remains a top priority for Naic, as it serves as the foundation for community development and the empowerment of future generations.  

Updates on learning initiatives and other essential educational concerns were also presented, reflecting the town’s commitment to providing equal and quality learning opportunities for every Naicqueño. The discussions reinforced the government’s dedication to strengthening programs that directly benefit students and teachers alike.
