Dasmariñas Grandstand Comes Alive with Zumba Marathon in Celebration of National Women’s Month

Dasmariñas City, Cavite — The City of Dasmariñas Grandstand was filled with energy, excitement, and unity as hundreds of women from across Cavite gathered for a lively Zumba Marathon in celebration of National Women’s Month. The event was organized in partnership with the Provincial Local Council of Women, underscoring the importance of wellness, empowerment, and the invaluable contributions of women in our communities.

Leading the celebration were Mayor Jenny Barzaga, Vice Mayor Third Barzaga, and Congressman Kiko Barzaga, who joined local leaders and women’s groups in championing the cause of gender equality and community solidarity.  

The marathon was graced by distinguished officials including:  

– Mayor Jojo Domingo of Amadeo  

– Vice Mayor Madonna Pel of Alfonso  

– BM Romel Enriquez of the 1st District of Cavite  

– Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dasmariñas  

– Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Trias  

– Ms. Nedeline Fidel of Indang  

– Ms. Anne Ferrer, Provincial Chairperson of the Provincial Local Council of Women  

Together, they joined hands with kababaihan from all over Cavite, celebrating not only physical wellness but also the spirit of unity and the strength of women who continue to shape and uplift communities.

Mayor Jenny Barzaga emphasized the city’s commitment to supporting women’s initiatives, saying that events like the Zumba Marathon are more than just fitness activities—they are a symbol of solidarity, empowerment, and progress. Vice Mayor Third Barzaga and Congressman Kiko Barzaga echoed this sentiment, highlighting the role of women as pillars of families, communities, and nation-building.
