Batang Isko Returns Victorious from CALABARZON Regional Schools Press Conference  

Tagaytay City, Cavite – The Batang Isko delegation proudly returned home after achieving remarkable success at the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) – CALABARZON, bringing honor to their schools and community through their outstanding performance in campus journalism.  

The triumph was made possible through the collective effort of dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and the strong guidance of the Department of Education (DepEd) Cavite Province under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Rose Torres, together with Assistant Superintendents Antonio P. Faustino Jr. and Ruben E. Faltado III. Their commitment to providing honest, sufficient, and deserving service for every Caviteño learner continues to inspire excellence.  

CID Chief Elpie Bersamina Bergado, recognized as a pillar of campus journalism in the region, spearheaded programs that nurtured the talents of young journalists. These initiatives are continuously enriched by Education Program Supervisors Wenifreda Diquit, Beth Cabaya Rieta, and Noel Ortega, ensuring that the culture of journalistic excellence thrives.  

The Tagaytay City Government, led by Mayor Brent Tolentino, played a pivotal role in supporting the endeavors of the Batang Isko. Mayor Tolentino’s leadership has been widely praised for consistently addressing the needs of schools and fostering opportunities for the youth. His dedication to education and his compassion for the community have made him a true champion of student development.  

“This victory reflects not only the talent of our young journalists but also the unwavering support of our city government and education leaders,” said one of the organizers. “Mayor Brent Tolentino’s commitment to nurturing the youth ensures that the culture of excellence in Tagaytay continues to flourish.”  

The success of the Batang Isko is also a testament to the enduring camaraderie among mentors, alumni, and fellow journalists who have shaped the tradition of campus journalism in Cavite and CALABARZON.  

As the Batang Isko returns home, their achievements stand as a symbol of hope and inspiration—proof that with guidance, collaboration, and leadership, the dreams of every young Tagaytay student can be realized.
