Batang GenTri Awardees: Young Champions in Sports and Mathematics
In the city of General Trias, the youth continue to prove that intelligence and talent can be powerful tools for success and inspiration. In the recent recognition of Batang GenTri Awardees, five outstanding young individuals shone in the fields of mathematics and sports—living proof that hard work, discipline, and determination lead to excellence. With every medal and trophy, they carry the hopes of their community.
Leading the pack is Lebron James Pornillos, who brought immense pride to the Philippines at the XII International Tournament – Mathematics Without Borders Finals in Nessebar, Bulgaria. He earned a Gold Medal in the Individual Contest, 1st Place in the Tournament Cup Award as “Math Star of the Tournament,” a Gold Medal and Gold Cup in the Lodovico Ferrari Tournament, and another Gold in the Team Contest. His achievements showcase the brilliance of Filipino youth on the global stage.
GenTri’s young athletes also made waves in swimming competitions. Marc Lebron Racoma won a Silver Medal in the Boys Secondary 4x50m Medley Relay. Meanwhile, Anya Dela Cruz and Markus Jared Dula each earned Bronze Medals in the Girls and Boys Elementary Swimming categories under Region IV-A. Their victories reflect the discipline, training, and unwavering support from their families and schools.
These awards are not just personal triumphs—they are victories for the entire community. Their stories remind us that education, sports, and strong local support are essential in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
