Mayor Alex Advincula Joins SILG Jonvic Remulla in Strengthening Good Governance at LCP Special National Board Meeting
Imus City Mayor Alex Advincula took part in the Special National Board Meeting of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), presided over by Secretary of the Interior and Local Government (SILG) Jonvic Remulla. The meeting brought together city leaders nationwide to discuss key reforms aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in local governance.
Central to the discussions were the allocation of the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) for local government units and the reinforcement of the Anti-Epal Policy, designed to safeguard the proper and honest use of government resources.
Mayor Advincula expressed his full support for these initiatives, underscoring Imus City’s dedication to integrity and responsible leadership.
“Sa pamumuno ni SILG Jonvic Remulla, mas napagtitibay ang ating pagkakaisa sa pagsusulong ng mabuting pamamahala. Ang ating pakikibahagi ay mahalaga upang masiguro na ang pondo ng pamahalaan ay nagagamit nang tapat para sa kapakinabangan ng bawat Imuseño,” Mayor Advincula said.
The meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the League of Cities of the Philippines in advancing reforms that strengthen governance and public trust.
