Trece Martires City Brings Hope Through Wheelchair Distribution Program

Trece Martires City, Cavite – May 18, 2026 – In a heartfelt show of compassion and service, Mayor Gemma Lubigan personally visited Treceño residents with physical disabilities to deliver much‑needed wheelchairs right to their homes. The initiative, which distributed 25 wheelchairs in a single day, reflects the city government’s commitment to inclusive care and direct community support.

Mayor Lubigan expressed her gratitude to the people of Trece Martires City, emphasizing that the project was made possible through the collective contribution of taxpayers:

“This program is not just about providing wheelchairs—it is about restoring dignity, mobility, and hope. Every Treceño taxpayer is part of this mission of compassion.”

Joining Mayor Lubigan in the distribution was Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso, who accompanied her throughout the day to personally greet beneficiaries and ensure that each recipient felt valued and supported. The team also brought breakfast and snacks, adding warmth and joy to the occasion.

The wheelchair distribution program is part of Trece Martires City’s broader initiative to strengthen social services and provide direct assistance to residents in need. By combining healthcare support with personal outreach, the local government continues to set an example of responsive and compassionate leadership.

Mayor Lubigan concluded the event with a message of unity:

“Together, we will continue to build a Trece Martires City that is caring, inclusive, and future‑ready.”
