Cavite Provincial Government Bolsters Healthcare Services

The Provincial Government of Cavite continues to prioritize healthcare development with a significant investment in the province’s medical facilities. Governor Francisco Gabriel Remulla Jr. (Gov. Abeng Remulla) personally led an ocular inspection at the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) in Trece Martires City, joined by local officials including Trece Martires City Mayor Gemma Lubigan.

– ₱300 million has been allocated for the immediate construction of new structures, procurement of modern equipment, and enhancement of hospital facilities at GEAMH.

– ₱200 million has been earmarked for the Cavite Center for Mental Health, ensuring that mental health services receive equal attention alongside physical healthcare.

This initiative marks Phase 1 of a long-term healthcare improvement program. The Provincial Government has assured Caviteños that Phase 2 and Phase 3 will follow, depending on the evolving needs of the hospital and its patients.

The planned upgrades are expected to:

– Expand hospital capacity with additional rooms and specialized wards.

– Provide advanced medical equipment and sufficient supplies of essential medicines.

– Accelerate service delivery through the hiring of more healthcare professionals.

– Elevate the quality of care for every Caviteño seeking medical assistance.

Leadership and Collaboration

Governor Abeng Remulla emphasized that GEAMH is a hospital for the entire province of Cavite, not just Trece Martires City. He expressed gratitude to Cavite taxpayers whose contributions make these projects possible.

Mayor Gemma Lubigan welcomed the initiative, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the Provincial Government and the City Government of Trece Martires in ensuring that residents benefit from improved healthcare services.  ( CTJ Team)
