Indangueños Shine on the National and International Stage
Indang, Cavite — Mayor Virgilio Fidel proudly extends his heartfelt congratulations to two outstanding Indangueños whose achievements bring honor and inspiration to the community.
Mr. Raffi Alec G. Ramos has made history in the field of powerlifting, representing the Philippines at the 2026 Asian Sub-Juniors and Juniors Classic and Equipped Powerlifting Championships held in Hainan, China. His remarkable performance earned him 3rd Place Overall, four Bronze Medals, and a new High School Deadlift National Record with his 225-kilogram lift. Mayor Fidel commended Mr. Ramos for his discipline, perseverance, and dedication, noting that his success reflects the strength and determination of the youth of Indang.
Meanwhile, the local government warmly welcomed Mr. John Paul Juanillo, who will proudly represent Indang in the upcoming Mr. and Ms. Cavite competition. During his courtesy visit, Mr. Juanillo expressed his commitment to showcase the pride of Indang and sought the support of his fellow Indangueños. Mayor Fidel assured him of the municipality’s full backing, emphasizing the importance of unity in celebrating the talents and aspirations of the town’s citizens.

“Ang tagumpay nina Raffi at John Paul ay hindi lamang kanilang personal na panalo, kundi tagumpay ng buong Bayan ng Indang. Sama-sama nating ipagmalaki ang ating mga kababayan na nagbibigay dangal at inspirasyon sa lahat,” Mayor Fidel stated.
