DOST-Cavite showcases STI support at Imus Business Check: Gabay sa Negosyanteng Imuseño 2026

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Cavite participated in Business Check: Gabay ng Negosyanteng Imuseño, a one-day business clinic held on July 16, 2026, at The District Imus. The event gathered 277 participants, including MSMEs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and junior and senior high school students. Representing DOST Cavite, Ms. Anna Marie S. Daigan, Supervising Science Research Specialist, provided consultations on DOST programs and services that support business development through science, technology, and innovation.

A highlight of the activity was the strong interest among students, who were eager to learn not only about DOST scholarship opportunities but also about what DOST can offer businesses. Many asked about the assistance available to startups and MSMEs, including technology support, product development, packaging, and other innovation-driven interventions to improve business operations and competitiveness.

DOST Cavite’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to making science and technology more accessible to entrepreneurs and students alike. The activity also served as a platform to encourage innovation and inspire future entrepreneurs to explore how science and technology can contribute to sustainable business growth and economic development.
