Successful Launch of MedCare Mega Health Center and Birthday Medical Mission
The Medical Mission and soft opening of the MedCare Mega Health Center in Brgy. 28, Sta. Cruz, Cavite City, held on September 12, 2024, was a resounding success. The event, which coincided with Mayor Denver Chua’s birthday, was made even more meaningful as it delivered essential healthcare services to the community.
The MedCare Mega Health Center was established to provide free medical services to the residents of Cavite. For its launch, the local government of Cavite City led by Mayor Denver Chua collaborated with the provincial government to bring healthcare closer to home. Medical practitioners of the provincial government and healthcare workers from Cavite City played a crucial role in serving 430 patients through a range of services including free medical consultations, prescribed medicines, multivitamins, X-rays, and ECGs.
The event was also supported by Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr., 1st District Representative Jolo Revilla, and the entire Team Unlad Cavite City. (F. Tamio)
