DOST-CALABARZON conducted its 1st Operational Targeting and Planning Meeting for CY 2025
Last January 22, 2025, The Department of Science and Technology – Region 4A (DOST-CALABARZON) conducted its 1st Operational Targeting and Planning Meeting for CY 2025 in Hotel Dominique, Tagaytay City, Cavite. The meeting aimed to discuss the targets and plans of the agency for the year to ensure that science, technology, and innovation (STI) are geared up and deployed in the region towards maximum benefits of the community and its people.
The said event was attended by 29 heads and representatives from the regional and provincial S&T offices of DOST-CALABARZON. Regional Director, Dir. Emelita P. Bagsit, spearheaded the meeting alongside the Assistant Regional Director for Technical Operations, Engr. Francisco R. Barquilla III and Assistant Regional Director for Finance and Administrative Services, Ms. Lyn A. Fernandez. The event was also attended by the provincial S&T director of Cavite, Ms. Gilda S. De Jesus; provincial S&T director of Laguna, Ms. Agnes G. Morales; provincial S&T director of Batangas, Ms. Felina C. Malabanan; provincial S&T director of Rizal, Fernando E. Ablaza; and provincial S&T director of Quezon, Ms. Maria Esperanza E. Jawili.
