A Space for Art: Cavite launched the Cavite Art Fair 2025.

Stepping into a vibrant and creative space of art, the Provincial Government of Cavite through the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer launched the long-awaited Cavite Art Fair at the New Provincial Capitol Building in Trece Martires City, on June 11-13, 2025.

The 3-day exhibition displayed intricate work of arts and impressive illustrations of diverse Cavite artisans, immersing the public into the unique art expressions and style of the exhibitors.

Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino graced the event with her presence, extending her full support to the local arts community. In her message, she expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to Cavite’s local artists, stating that the province’s wealth of culture and history is vividly reflected through artistic expression. She proudly announced that the next Cavite Art Fair will be held in Tagaytay City, marking a new chapter in celebrating and nurturing the creative industry in the province.

Subsequently, Mr. Emmanuel “Manny” Garibay of Linangan Art Residency stated that the event is an “intersection of culture, arts and history and the projection of what Cavite is”. As he ended his message, he gladly thanked Gov. Tolentino for the effort and time in bringing the art fair to life.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting, led by Governor Tolentino, Mr. Garibay, and Mr. Henry “Bokeng” Ancanan of the Alitaptap Artists Community, marked the official opening of the exhibition. The governor warmly joined guests and art enthusiasts as they toured the gallery, taking time to appreciate the vibrant collection of artworks on display.

Aside from the featured creative pieces, the Cavite Art Fair displayed arrays of goods and products of Cavite micro, small, and medium enterprises, which served as an avenue to expand their connection and marketing to the stakeholders.

On the last day of the fair, Ms. Elinia Imelda Rozelle Sangalang, Provincial Tourism Officer, extended their utmost appreciation to everyone who took part, supported and visited Cavite Art Fair 2025, stating “We hope that this activity has sparked the creativity and interest of the audience that could pave way to more creative endeavors in the future.”—J.Reyes
