Rising Together: Imus Joins the 75th General Assembly of the League of Cities of the Philippines
In a landmark gathering of city leaders across the nation, Imus proudly took part in the 75th General Assembly of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP)—a pivotal event that marked the affirmation of the newly elected national officers who will serve from 2025 to 2028. This assembly reaffirmed the collective commitment of cities to work hand in hand toward inclusive progress and responsive governance.
With the new leadership now in place, Imus, under the stewardship of Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula, stands ready to serve and collaborate with fellow cities in advancing shared goals. Our participation reflects not only our dedication to local development but also our active role in shaping national policy and urban transformation.
The LCP General Assembly served as a vital platform for dialogue on pressing issues such as urban governance, disaster resilience, digital innovation, and inclusive growth. Through resolutions and strategic discussions, the assembly underscored the power of collective action in addressing the diverse needs of cities—from grassroots communities to major urban centers.
As the new officers begin their term, we look forward to stronger inter-city cooperation, open exchange of best practices, and more impactful development programs. Imus remains a steadfast partner in the League’s mission to build safer, smarter, and more empowered communities across the Philippines. (CTJ TEAM)
