Agimat Partylist Pushes for Stronger Labor Protections

Congressman Bryan Revilla of Agimat Partylist reaffirmed his commitment to championing the rights and welfare of Filipino workers during the recent Committee on Labor and Employment hearing led by Rep. Jolo Revilla.

In the session, Congressman Bryan Revilla actively participated in discussions on measures designed to safeguard workers’ health, safety, and job security—especially in times of disasters, crises, and unforeseen challenges. He emphasized that the fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and a stable future is at the core of Agimat Partylist’s mission.

Among the proposals highlighted and supported by Congressman Revilla were:

– Survivorship benefits for NLRC officials to ensure continuity of support for their families.

– Enhanced Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) protections, particularly for workers exposed to risks during calamities and climate-related events.

– Steps toward a just and humane national minimum wage, aimed at uplifting the standard of living of every Filipino worker.

Congressman Bryan Revilla underscored that Agimat Partylist stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the nation’s workforce in advancing humane and just policies that guarantee safe and dignified employment.

“Ligtas na trabaho, makatarungang sahod, at matatag na kinabukasan—iyan ang ipinaglalaban natin. Hindi nag-iisa ang manggagawang Pilipino, dahil may Agimat sa bawat laban,” Congressman Revilla declared.

With this, Agimat Partylist continues to position itself as a steadfast ally of the Filipino labor sector, ensuring that every worker has the protection, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
