Mayor Advincula Commends City College of Imus for Grand Community Service Activity

Imus, Cavite — The City College of Imus successfully held its Grand Community Service Activity at the Wellness Center, New City Hall, bringing together students, trainers, staff, and officials in a united effort to deliver free services and products to the community.  

Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula personally welcomed the CCI delegation to his office, expressing gratitude and admiration for the college’s initiatives. He emphasized that programs like these embody the true essence of public service and highlight the importance of education that extends beyond academics into real-life community impact.  

The event showcased a variety of offerings, including free massages, haircuts, manicures, iced coffee, mocktails, school supplies, and handmade accessories. Trainees also shared empanadas, crinkles, and mamon with city government departments, adding warmth and camaraderie to the occasion.  

City Administrator Larry D. Monzon, CIO Head Erwin Ace Navarette, and Hon. Mark Anthony P. Villanueva visited the venue to show their support, underscoring the value of initiatives that provide accessible services and opportunities to Imuseños. Their presence reinforced the strong partnership between the local government and educational institutions.  

The Grand Community Service Activity stands as a testament to the City College of Imus’ dedication to quality education, technical skills, and compassionate service. With the leadership and encouragement of Mayor Advincula, the city continues to foster unity and progress, ensuring that programs with tangible benefits reach more residents of Imus.
