Mayor Randy Salamat Doubles Allowance for Barangay Tanod and Lupon; Alfonso Strengthens Community Security Measures  

Alfonso, Cavite — In a decisive move to recognize the vital role of community frontliners, Mayor Randy Salamat announced the doubling of the monthly allowance for all Barangay Tanod and Barangay Lupon across the municipality of Alfonso. The initiative underscores the local government’s appreciation for their dedication in maintaining peace and order at the grassroots level.  

Mayor Salamat emphasized that these community leaders are the first responders in ensuring safety and discipline in every barangay. “Sa ating mga minamahal na Barangay Tanod at Barangay Lupon, kayo ang unang kumikilos sa ating mga barangay. Patuloy kayong nagsisilbi nang buong dedikasyon kahit matindi ang init ng araw o malakas ang ulan,” he said, highlighting their unwavering service.  

The mayor also revealed additional measures to strengthen public safety, including the deployment of metal scanners at school gates to enhance security and protect students. He noted that if sufficient funds become available, the city government will explore further increases in allowances and additional support for barangay frontliners.  

This initiative reflects Alfonso’s proactive governance, ensuring that those who safeguard the community are properly recognized and supported. Mayor Salamat’s leadership continues to prioritize both security and welfare, reinforcing the municipality’s commitment to building a safe and resilient environment for every Alfonso resident.
