BACOOR AND BAGUIO CITY FORMALIZE SISTERHOOD THROUGH MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Baguio City, August 12, 2025 — The City Governments of Bacoor and Baguio have officially established a sisterhood agreement through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) held at the Baguio City Hall. This strategic partnership marks the beginning of a collaborative relationship aimed at fostering mutual growth, innovation, and the exchange of best practices between the two progressive cities. The ceremony was led by Bacoor City Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, with the presence of key officials including Bacoor City Administrator Atty. Aimee Torrefranca-Neri and Baguio City Councilor Yuri K. Weygan. Bacoor’s full delegation of department and unit heads also attended, taking the opportunity to benchmark Baguio’s governance and programs. Following the signing, the Bacoor delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Magalong’s office, where both parties exchanged tokens of appreciation — a symbolic gesture of friendship and cooperation. This sisterhood agreement paves the way for future collaborations between Bacoor and Baguio, particularly in enhancing public service delivery, community development, and local governance.
