Provincial Government of Cavite Brings Arangkada Program to Maragondon
Maragondon, Cavite – The Provincial Government of Cavite successfully rolled out its Arangkada Program in the municipality of Maragondon, reaffirming its commitment to support the transportation sector, particularly the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) and Jeepney Operators and Drivers Associations (JODA) who continue to serve communities across the province.
The event was led by Governor Juanito Victor “Abeng” Remulla and Vice Governor Ramon “Ram” Revilla Bautista, underscoring the provincial leadership’s dedication to providing financial aid and assistance to local drivers and operators. Their presence highlighted the administration’s recognition of the vital role transport workers play in sustaining daily life and mobility in Cavite.
Joining the provincial officials were Mayor Lawrence “Umbe” Arca and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maragondon, who expressed their full support for the initiative. The program also saw participation from community leaders, including Mr. Filomeno “Menong” Maligaya, who attended to show solidarity with the beneficiaries and emphasize the importance of collective backing for grassroots programs.
The Arangkada Program continues to deliver relief and empowerment to Caviteños, ensuring that transport workers receive not only recognition but also tangible support to improve their livelihoods.
