DOLE Trabaho Agad Job Fair Opens Doors on 128th Philippine Independence Day

Dasmariñas City, Cavite – In celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) launched the Trabaho Agad Job Fair in Dasmariñas City, creating pathways for job seekers to secure meaningful employment and build brighter futures.  

The event, held in partnership with the City Government of Dasmariñas, was graced by Mayor Jenny Barzaga and Vice Mayor  “Third” Barzaga , who both underscored the importance of empowering the local workforce.  

Mayor Jenny Barzaga highlighted the city’s commitment to uplifting residents through accessible opportunities:  

“Independence is not only about freedom from colonial rule, but also about ensuring our people have the means to live with dignity. This job fair is a step toward strengthening families and communities by opening doors to decent work.”  

Vice Mayor Third Barzaga echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the role of collaboration between government and private partners:  

“Through initiatives like Trabaho Agad, we reaffirm our dedication to supporting every Dasmarineño in their pursuit of a better life. Employment is empowerment, and empowerment drives progress.”  

The job fair brought together numerous employers from diverse industries, offering thousands of vacancies to qualified applicants. Attendees were also provided with career guidance and counseling services to help them align their skills with available opportunities.  

The City Government of Dasmariñas continues to champion programs that foster economic growth and social development, ensuring that the celebration of independence resonates not only in history but also in the everyday lives of its people.
