Provincial Government of Cavite Recognizes Carmona’s United Nations Public Service Award; Mayor Dahlia Loyola Commends Inclusive Governance Efforts
Carmona, Cavite — The Provincial Government of Cavite, through Resolution No. 4932-2026, formally recognized the City of Carmona for its achievement as a 2026 United Nations Public Service Awardee for the flagship program KalingYakap. This international recognition highlights Carmona’s dedication to inclusive governance and its unwavering support for persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola expressed deep gratitude for the acknowledgment, emphasizing that the award is a testament to the city’s collective effort. “Ang KalingYakap ay hindi lamang programa, ito ay simbolo ng malasakit at pagkalinga ng Carmona para sa ating mga kababayang PWDs. Ang pagkilalang ito mula sa United Nations ay tagumpay ng buong Carmona,” she said, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to inclusive and compassionate leadership.
Governor Francisco Gabriel “Abeng” Remulla, Vice Governor Ram Revilla Bautista, and members of the Provincial Board joined in congratulating Carmona, praising the city’s innovative approach to social services. They noted that Carmona’s success serves as an inspiration for other local government units in Cavite and across the Philippines.
The recognition underscores Carmona’s vision of “Bayan Muna Lagi, Dapat Angat Lahat”, ensuring that no sector of society is left behind.
