Carmona Honors Blood Donors in 14th Annual Recognition Ceremony  

The City Government of Carmona, led by Mayor Dahlia Loyola, proudly recognized the modern-day heroes who continue to save lives through voluntary blood donation. The 14th Annual Blood Donor Recognition highlighted the invaluable contributions of individuals and organizations in fostering a healthier community.  

A total of 58 individual blood donors were honored by the Office of the City Health Officer for their consistent generosity and compassion. Each donor received a Certificate of Recognition and tokens of appreciation from the local government, symbolizing Carmona’s gratitude for their life-saving efforts.  

Mayor Loyola underscored the significance of collective action in public health, stating that every drop of donated blood represents courage and compassion. She emphasized that Carmona will always be a home to heroes who embody the spirit of service and solidarity.  

The ceremony also paid tribute to 10 companies, 4 partner organizations, and 2 partner facilities whose support ensured the success of blood donation drives in the city. Among the recognized partners were TV5 Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Alpha Phi Omega Carmona Alumni Association, Kawani ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Carmona Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Liga ng mga Barangay, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital – Blood Collecting Unit and Blood Bank, and the Philippine General Hospital Department of Laboratories.   Mayor Loyola concluded the event with a heartfelt message of gratitude, saluting all donors and partners for their dedication to building a safe and healthy Carmona.
