PAGCOR School Building Project to Rise in Carmona
Carmona, Cavite – A significant step in strengthening the city’s education infrastructure was achieved as the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carmona, led by Mayor Dahlia Loyola, formally joined the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) for the rollout of the PAGCOR School Building Projects.
As part of this program, Carmona will benefit from the construction of a three-storey school building at Lantic Elementary School in Barangay Lantic, designed to address classroom shortages and enhance the learning environment for students.
Mayor Loyola expressed her appreciation for the initiative:
“Ang bawat karagdagang pasilidad ay mahalagang hakbang tungo sa mas maayos na kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan. Sa tulong ng PAGCOR at DepEd, patuloy nating isinusulong ang programang makatutulong sa mga guro at mag-aaral ng Carmona.”
DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara underscored the importance of the partnership, highlighting that the PAGCOR School Building Project reflects the national government’s commitment to bridging infrastructure gaps in public schools. He emphasized that collaboration with LGUs ensures that resources are maximized and projects are delivered to communities where they are most needed.
This development demonstrates Carmona’s steadfast dedication to education and its vision of empowering the youth through safe, modern, and accessible learning facilities. The project stands as a testament to the synergy between national agencies and local governments in uplifting the education sector.
Para sa Edukasyon. Para sa Kabataan. Para sa Lungsod ng Carmona.
