Governor Abeng Remulla Recognized as Second Top-Performing Governor in CALABARZON for Disaster Response
Province of Cavite – Cavite Governor Juanito Victor “Abeng” Remulla has been ranked second among the top-performing governors in CALABARZON, based on the latest survey conducted by One Research Philippines Inc. (ORPI). The survey measured the performance and presence of local leaders during times of calamities and disasters.
Governor Remulla garnered an impressive 85.3% rating from Cavite residents, reflecting strong public confidence in his swift response, decisive action, and consistent monitoring during crises. The non-commissioned survey, conducted in August 2026, covered 1,000 respondents per province across the region to assess whether citizens felt the presence and leadership of their governors during emergencies.
This recognition highlights Cavite’s continued focus on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), ensuring the safety and welfare of its people. Governor Remulla’s proactive leadership has been instrumental in strengthening preparedness, enhancing coordination, and delivering timely assistance whenever calamities strike.
“Ang mataas na rating na ito ay patunay ng tiwala ng mga Caviteño sa ating pamahalaang panlalawigan. Patuloy nating sisiguraduhin na ang bawat mamamayan ay ligtas at may kakayahang harapin ang anumang sakuna,” Governor Remulla stated.
The survey results reaffirm Cavite’s commitment to building resilience and safeguarding communities, positioning the province as a model of effective governance in times of disaster.
