Smiles and hope for a healthier community radiate in a medical and dental mission at Barangay Bulihan, Silang.

The Provincial Government of Cavite, in coordination with the Local Government of Silang and Youth for Silang Organization, continued extending basic medical services to attain a healthier community in Barangay Bulihan, on January 15, 2025.

Medical professional from GEAMH and Rural Health Unit of Carmona provided health advice and check-ups to 425 patients, addressing their health concerns. Likewise, 61 constituents underwent dental extractions for improved oral health and hygiene.

As the program carried on, Governor Athena Tolentino, alongside 5th District Representative Roy Loyola, Board member Aidel Paul Belamide, and Silang Mayor General Edward Carranza, displayed their support and enthusiasm for the health outreach program.

Governor Tolentino emphasized that mental health is just as important as physical health, highlighting the availability of a 24/7 hotline offering free counseling, referrals, and consultations with psychiatrists for individuals struggling with mental health issues. โ€œWala pong dapat ikatakot sa paghingi ng tulong tungkol dito, kaya ito po ay bukas na bukas sa lahat ng mamamayan dito sa lalawigan ng Cavite,โ€ she emphasized. Governor Tin also mentioned that the program was carefully planned and organized over the course of three years by her and the board members of Cavite to be implemented across the province.

She, then, concluded her message, stating that she will remain committed and โ€œat your serviceโ€ for the Cavite people.

The medical and dental mission program is a testament of the provincial governmentโ€™s dedication and commitment in improving the overall health and welfare of every Caviteรฑo in the province.— (J. Reyes FB/account)
