January 27, 2025- Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino led the signing of the Joint Venture Agreement for the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) System Project together with the private partners, Cavite Rapid Transport Incorporated represented by Maplecrest Group Inc. President, Mr. Erlaster C. Sotto, and Megawide Construction Corporation Chief Business Development Officer, Atty. Jaime Raphael C. Feliciano.
The signing was witnessed by the PGC PPP Committee with its Chairman Renato Abutan and Vice Chairman, Board Member Arnel “Ony” Cantimbuhan, Maplecrest Group Inc. Chairman Guillermo Choa, and Megawide CEO Edgar Saavedra. Also joining the momentous event were Imus City Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula and Gen. Trias Mayor Luis “Jonjon” Ferrer.
The agreement paves the way for the development and implementation of the Cavite Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) System, a key initiative aimed at improving mobility, reducing traffic congestion, and boosting economic growth in the province.
