Councilor Jelyn Maliksi Completes Transformative Leadership Training for Re-Elected Officials

Tagaytay City — Imus City Councilor Jelyn Maliksi joined fellow re-elected officials in a three-day Transformative Leadership for Elevated Governance refresher course organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). Held in Tagaytay City, the training aimed to strengthen the leadership capacities of local officials as they begin a new term of public service.

The program focused on enhancing ethical governance, strategic decision-making, and effective community engagement. Through interactive sessions and expert-led discussions, participants explored the evolving demands of local leadership and the importance of being responsive to constituents’ needs. Councilor Maliksi actively participated in workshops that emphasized openness to reform and inclusive policymaking.
