Mayor Strike Revilla Leads Bacoor’s 24-Hour Patrol Initiative for Road Safety
Bacoor City has intensified its public safety efforts with the full implementation of the “Malasakit Sa Bawat Residente” (MSBR) Program, a 24-hour patrolling and inspection initiative aimed at preventing vehicular accidents and promoting discipline on the road. Spearheaded by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, the program is anchored on Executive Order No. 13-2023, which mobilizes the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), Bacoor Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bacoor Traffic Management Department (BTMD) to monitor all roads and vehicles across the city.
Mayor Revilla emphasized that the MSBR Program reflects the city’s core values of compassion and proactive governance. “Ang inyong kapakanan ay ang aming prayoridad,” he stated in a recent update, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to every Bacooreño’s safety. The initiative combines enforcement with public service, ensuring that patrol teams not only regulate traffic but also assist residents in need.
Since its launch, the program has led to improved traffic flow and heightened awareness of road safety protocols. Patrol units have become a familiar sight in Bacoor’s major intersections and barangay roads, offering both visibility and reassurance. Community leaders have also begun collaborating with city agencies to amplify the program’s reach through local education campaigns and feedback channels.
Executive Order No. 13-2023 outlines the operational roles of each department involved. The BDRRMO coordinates emergency response and risk mitigation, the PNP enforces law and order, and the BTMD manages traffic systems and road safety enforcement. Mayor Revilla’s leadership has been instrumental in aligning these agencies under a unified vision of discipline and malasakit.
Residents are encouraged to support the initiative by following traffic rules and reporting road hazards. With Mayor Strike Revilla at the helm, Bacoor continues to set a strong example of civic responsibility and inclusive governance. The MSBR Program stands as a testament to the city’s belief that safety begins with compassion—and that every resident deserves protection and respect.
