Mayor Strike Revilla Leads Inauguration of 12-Classroom Building at Salinas Elementary School

Bacoor City, Cavite — In a resounding affirmation of Bacoor’s commitment to educational advancement, Mayor Strike Revilla led the ceremonial opening of a newly constructed 12-classroom building at Salinas Elementary School, a project that underscores the city’s vision for inclusive and future-ready learning spaces.

The inauguration was attended by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, City Councilors Karen Sarino Evaristo, Noly Galvez, and Levy Tela, along with Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Babylyn M. Pambid and school principal Mr. Feliciano F. De Vera Jr. Also present were Barangay Chairmen Kapitan Nicanor D. Espiritu (Salinas 1) and Kapitan Mark G. Torno (Salinas 2), with Bishop Erik Santos offering a solemn blessing for the new facility.

Mayor Revilla emphasized that the new building is more than just infrastructure—it is a symbol of Bacoor’s unwavering belief that education is the foundation of a brighter future. “Sa Bacoor, hindi lang tayo nagtatayo ng gusali. Nagtatayo tayo ng pag-asa, ng kinabukasan para sa bawat batang Bacooreno,” he said during his address.

The event also served as a heartfelt tribute to the late Councilor Victorio “Toto” Guerrero Jr., a respected public servant and community pillar in Barangay Salinas. His children, Mr. Victorio “Rio” Guerrero III and Ms. Vina Guerrero-Gandia, joined the gathering to honor his legacy and contributions to local development.

With the support of the Department of Education and the City Government of Bacoor, the new classrooms are expected to ease overcrowding and enhance the learning environment for hundreds of students. The initiative reflects Bacoor’s broader push for sustainable infrastructure and educational equity across its barangays.

As the city continues to invest in youth and education, the rallying call remains clear:
