189 New Educators Pledge Commitment to Kabataang Gentrisenos in General Trias

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, August 29, 2025 — A new wave of educators officially joined the ranks of the Department of Education (DepEd) in General Trias City as 189 newly hired teachers took their oath of service in a ceremony led by City Mayor Hon. Luis “Jon-Jon” A. Ferrer IV. The event, held at the Schools Division Office, marked a significant milestone in the city’s continuing efforts to strengthen public education.

Mayor Ferrer, joined by Vice Mayor Hon. Jonas Glyn P. Labuguen, Councilor and Committee on Education Chairman Hon. Martin Nicholo A. Ferrer, and Vice Chairman Hon. Kyle J. Salazar, emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping the future of kabataang Gentrisenos. In his keynote message, Mayor Ferrer urged educators to treat their students as their own children, underscoring the values of compassion and guidance in the classroom.

Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, welcomed the new teachers with words of encouragement and gratitude.
