Canva Philippines Launches Storefront Templates and Partnerships Ahead of 9.9
Manila, Philippines — Canva Philippines today announced a suite of new initiatives designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) strengthen their digital presence, boost sales, and grow their business.
For entrepreneurs, running a business often means juggling countless roles including building an online presence that grabs attention fast. With people scrolling faster than ever, compelling visuals have become essential to winning customers and staying competitive.
“Filipino entrepreneurs are creative and resilient, but many still face challenges in building a strong online identity. Our goal is to empower every entrepreneur to show up with the same confidence as big brands, because their ideas and stories deserve to be seen,” said Maisie Littaua, Country Lead for the Philippines at Canva.
Canva Expands Support for Entrepreneurs Online and Beyond
Canva is launching a collection of marketing and promotional templates designed for the country’s biggest online double-digit sale events, starting with 9.9. These templates help SMEs showcase bestsellers, announce limited offers, and stand out in busy feeds with professional, polished visuals created in minutes.
The partnership extends beyond templates to include long-term opportunities for sellers’ skill development. A dedicated Shopee Creator Page on Canva has also been launched, featuring tailored templates and design resources specifically for creating compelling storefronts and promotional materials.
Starting October, Canva will also be part of the Shopee University curriculum, training sellers on practical design and marketing skills, with the aim to help sellers create visuals that not only drive sales, but build a strong brand identity.
Moreover, to ensure that Shopee sellers can fully leverage Canva’s premium design tools, 4,000 exclusive one-month Canva Pro trial codes to eligible sellers, as well as a 50% discount for up to three months after the trial.
“Shopee is dedicated to helping businesses of all sizes grow and succeed,” said Jack Ng, Head of Commercial at Shopee Philippines. “Through this partnership, we are not only giving sellers tools to market their products more effectively today, but also upskilling them with design and marketing knowledge that they can use to grow their businesses in the long run.”
Canva also partners with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to support the Philippine creative economy through programs such as nationwide workshops, caravans, and the DTI Malikhaing Filipino event. These initiatives aim to equip MSMEs and creatives with tools and skills to thrive in an increasingly digital, global marketplace.
“For many SMEs, Canva isn’t just a design platform. It’s a partner that makes their everyday hustle easier,” Littaua added. “As more entrepreneurs embrace digital transformation, Canva will continue to be an enabler, helping them scale, compete, and grow their impact on families, communities, and the economy.”
