Mayor Denver Chua Champions Accessible Health Care Through Unlad Health Caravan
Noveleta, Cavite – Mayor Denver Chua of Noveleta continues to strengthen his commitment to bringing quality health services closer to the people through the ongoing Unlad Health Caravan, a mobile initiative designed to deliver free medical care directly to communities.
The caravan, spearheaded by the City Health Office, provides residents with FREE consultations, medicines, ECG, and X-ray services. It also facilitates registration for the PhilHealth Konsulta Program, ensuring that Caviteños can fully benefit from the Universal Health Care system.
Mayor Chua emphasized the importance of inclusivity in health care, highlighting that PhilHealth membership is now free for indigent Caviteños. This means that even those who are unable to pay contributions can still become members and access vital medical services.
“Health care is a right, not a privilege. Through the Unlad Health Caravan, we are making sure that no Caviteño is left behind when it comes to medical support,” Mayor Chua stated.
The initiative reflects Mayor Chua’s broader vision of a healthier, more resilient Cavite, where government programs directly reach the grassroots. By mobilizing health workers and resources, the caravan ensures that families in underserved areas receive the care they need without financial burden.
The Unlad Health Caravan is part of Mayor Chua’s continuing advocacy for accessible, affordable, and community-centered health care, reinforcing his administration’s dedication to improving the well-being of every Caviteño.
