Imus City Strengthens Disaster Response with New Rescue and Logistics Vehicles

Imus City, Cavite – The local government of Imus, under the leadership of Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula, has officially inaugurated three new rescue vehicles and two logistics support vehicles to further enhance the city’s disaster preparedness and service delivery capabilities.

The three rescue vehicles, turned over to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), are designated for rapid response during floods and other calamities. These units are expected to significantly improve the city’s ability to reach affected communities quickly and provide immediate assistance.

Meanwhile, the two logistics support vehicles, assigned to the Office of the General Services Officer (OGSO), will streamline the transport of essential equipment and supplies for various local government programs. This addition ensures faster mobilization and more efficient service delivery to Imuseños.

Mayor Advincula emphasized that these investments reflect the city’s unwavering commitment to public safety and resilience.  

“Patuloy nating pinatitibay ang ating kahandaan at inaangat ang antas ng serbisyo para sa kaligtasan ng bawat Imuseño,” the mayor stated during the turnover ceremony.

The initiative forms part of Imus City’s broader disaster risk reduction and management strategy, ensuring that residents are protected and supported in times of need. With these new vehicles, the city government reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding lives and strengthening community resilience. (CTJ Team)
