Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla Welcomes BJMP Bacoor Officials, Strengthens Local Partnership for Humane Jail Management
In a continued show of inclusive leadership and civic collaboration, Cong. Lani Mercado-Revilla reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to inter-agency cooperation by welcoming key officials from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Bacoor. The visit highlighted the appointment of JSUPT Christopher Penilla as Warden of BJMP Bacoor Male Dorm and JSINSP Sally Buguis as Warden of BJMP Bacoor Female Dorm. Both officials were commended for their dedication to upholding humane standards and implementing reformative programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) under their care. Mayor Lani expressed her full support for their leadership, noting that their work aligns with the city’s values of compassion, dignity, and second chances.
