Imus Celebrates 1st Anniversary of AAksyon Caravan, Bringing Services Closer to the People
Imus City, Cavite – The City of Imus marked a significant milestone with the 1st Anniversary of the AAksyon Caravan, held at Greengate Homes, Malagasang II-A, led by Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula and supported by Congressman AJ Advincula.
The AAksyon Caravan, launched to bring government services directly to communities, has become a vital program for Imuseños, offering free medical, dental, and social services. During the anniversary celebration, the City Government reaffirmed its commitment to expanding access to essential programs. From the office of Congressman AJ Advincula, residents received free dentures, free reading and prescription glasses, and DOH Guarantee Letters – services designed to ease the burden of healthcare costs and improve quality of life.
Mayor Alex Advincula emphasized that the caravan reflects the city’s mission to make governance more accessible and responsive:
“Sa pamamagitan ng AAksyon Caravan, mas napapalapit sa ating mga kababayan ang iba’t ibang libreng serbisyo ng lokal na pamahalaan. Ito ay patunay na ang pamahalaan ay tunay na kaagapay ng bawat Imuseño,” he said.
Congressman AJ Advincula likewise highlighted the importance of sustained action and collaboration in delivering meaningful public service:
“Tuloy-tuloy lang po tayo sa pag-aksyon at pagbibigay-serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan. Ang ating layunin ay masiguro na walang Imuseño ang maiiwan pagdating sa serbisyong pangkalusugan at pangkabuhayan,” he noted.
