Grand Opening of the Magallanes Pasalubong Center: A Milestone for Local Pride and Economic Growth
Magallanes proudly celebrates the official opening of the Magallanes Pasalubong Center, a new hub dedicated to showcasing and promoting the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of local MSMEs, cooperatives, and associations.
This landmark initiative reflects the town’s commitment to strengthening its local economy by supporting homegrown products and providing wider market opportunities for Magalleño entrepreneurs. More than just a pasalubong destination, the center embodies the hard work, talent, and innovation of the community.
Mayor Janessa Maligaya De Ramayo expressed her heartfelt congratulations and optimism for the center’s role in uplifting local livelihoods:
> “The Magallanes Pasalubong Center is not only a home for our products but also a symbol of our unity and determination to build a stronger local economy. This is a space where every Magalleño’s creativity and dedication will shine, and where visitors can truly experience the pride of our town.”
The project also honors the vision and leadership of former Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista, now Cavite 8th District Board Member, whose support was instrumental in establishing the facility.
The inauguration was graced by Vice Mayor Aina Mari Maligalig-Sisante, the OPCDO, the LGU Family, local producers, cooperatives, associations, and distinguished guests who continue to champion programs for Magallanes’ progress.
The Magallanes Business Owners Community Multipurpose Cooperative (MBOCC) will manage the center, ensuring sustainability and growth for local enterprises.
With its doors now open, the Magallanes Pasalubong Center stands as a beacon of community pride and economic resilience—inviting everyone to buy local, support local, and celebrate Magalleño excellence.
