PGCEA Elects New Officers for 2025-2026 in a Highly Successful Election
The Provincial Government of Cavite Employees Association (PGCEA), the official organization representing the employees of the Provincial Government of Cavite, successfully conducted its election of officers for the 2025-2026 term on March 14, 2025. The event, held from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM through a secure online voting system, with employees casting their votes in person at designated voting stations across the province, took place simultaneously at three designated voting stations: the Ceremonial Hall at the Old Provincial Capitol, the E-Library at the Legislative Building, and the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) Station.
Members of the Election Committee supervised each station to facilitate the process and assist voters. Employees participated by signing in with the office’s focal person, seeking guidance from an Election Committee representative, and accessing the PGCEA online voting system via laptops and desktops provided at the stations. Voters could also scan a QR code to log in using their assigned voter’s code before casting their votes.
The election saw an overwhelming voter turnout, demonstrating the strong engagement of PGCEA members. Out of 2,684 employees, 2,024 were registered voters (75.41%), and 2,016 employees cast their votes (99.60%), highlighting the employees’ commitment to active participation in their organization’s leadership.
