Akbay Kalikasan held courtesy visit with Cavite Provincial Tourism for Rajah at Prinsesa Kalikasan 2025
The Akbay Kalikasan Environmental Society Management Inc. (AKESMI), a registered volunteer non-government organization that promotes environmental and cultural awareness in the Province of Cavite held a productive courtesy visit to the Provincial Tourism Office and presented the forthcoming “Rajah at Prinsesa Kalikasan Cavite 2025”, a beauty pageant competition that represents each town and cities concern for culture and environment.
Akbay Kalikasan (AKESMI) paid a courtesy visit with Ms. Rozelle Sangalang, Cavite Provincial Tourism & Cultural Affairs Officer where they presented the programs and projects implemented in the Province of Cavite such as the waste management and environmental protection through tree planting actions and eco-garden development in the community using sustainable IEC campaign.
Through partnership and collaboration, these programs ensure that proper coordination with other stakeholders like government, HOA’s, business industry, NGO’s, media, civic and religious organizations are being successfully organized.
“ We wanted to support our local tourism and the provincial government in empowering the community by educating the people on the importance of promoting the principles of RA9003, the ecological solid waste management act of 2000”, Prof. Julio Castillo, President and Chairman of Akbay Kalikasan (AKESMI) said.
“We are a partner of the province in promoting local tourism and environmental awareness for Cavite’s growth and development. Through “Rajah at Prinsesa Kalikasan Cavite” pageant competition, we look forward to fruitful collaborations with the LGUs in Cavite ”, he added.
