Caviteno Solo Parent and Out-of-School Youth Empowered through Fashion Accessories Making Training
In line with the Provincial Government of Cavite’s commitment to empower vulnerable sectors through sustainable livelihood initiatives, a skills training on Fashion Accessories Making was conducted on June 23, 2025, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer (OPE) Conference Room, New Provincial Capitol in Trece Martires City.
A total of 26 Caviteños, composed of solo parents and out-of-school youth, participated in the hands-on training facilitated by Ms. Eleazara Asis, outsource trainer of the Office of the Provincial Cooperative Development Officer (OPCDO).
The activity provided participants with essential skills in crafting various types of fashion accessories such as beaded earrings, bracelets, and necklaces—enabling them to create marketable items and explore possible income-generating opportunities.
The livelihood initiative is part of the province’s continuing efforts to uplift the lives of marginalized sectors by equipping them with practical skills that promote self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. — OPIO
