PAVI Prime and Asset Ventures Present MCX South and West Link Expressway Proposal to Cavite Officials

In a significant step toward improving regional mobility and economic development, PAVI Prime Infrastructures and Asset Ventures, Inc. have formally presented the feasibility study for the proposed MCX South Link and West Link Expressway to the provincial government of Cavite. The project overview was shared with Governor Abeng Remulla and other key stakeholders, marking the beginning of a transformative infrastructure initiative.

The proposed expressway aims to extend the Metro Cavite Expressway (MCX) through two major corridors: the South Link, which will connect MCX to municipalities such as Dasmariñas, General Trias, and Silang; and the West Link, which will reach Bacoor, Imus, and Kawit. These extensions are designed to integrate with existing road networks like CALAX and CAVITEX, creating a seamless and efficient transportation system across the province.

Governor Remulla, known for his commitment to inclusive development, welcomed the proposal under the guiding principle “Mula sa Bayan, Para sa Bayan.” He emphasized that the expressway is not just a road project, but a lifeline for Caviteños—one that promises faster travel, better access to services, and new economic opportunities.

The feasibility study outlines several key benefits, including reduced travel time, improved logistics, and job creation. Thousands of employment opportunities are expected during both the construction and operational phases, while enhanced connectivity is projected to attract investments and boost local commerce.

Environmental sustainability is also a priority in the project’s design. The developers plan to incorporate green corridors, flood control systems, and eco-friendly construction practices to ensure minimal ecological disruption while maximizing long-term benefits.

With the initial presentation complete, the next steps include environmental impact assessments, public consultations, and coordination with national infrastructure agencies. If approved, construction could begin by mid-2026, ushering in a new era of mobility and growth for Cavite.

This expressway proposal reflects a strong public-private partnership and a shared vision for progress—one that places the needs of the people at the heart of development.
