General Trias Strengthens Faith and Unity Through Values Instruction Curriculum Summer Enhancement

General Trias, Cavite — The City Government of General Trias, under the leadership of Mayor Jonjon Ferrer and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, proudly announces the successful gathering of pastors, Bible study leaders, values teachers, mentors, volunteers, and community members for the Values Instruction Curriculum Summer Enhancement Program.  

This initiative, which will reach an estimated 87,000 students across various schools in General Trias for Academic Year 2026–2027, highlights the city’s commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth and moral development of its youth. The fellowship and sharing of the Word of God serve as a cornerstone for strengthening values education and community partnership.  

Mayor Jonjon Ferrer emphasized the importance of faith-based collaboration in shaping the next generation:  

“Through unity and shared faith, we empower our youth to become responsible citizens who uphold values that strengthen our community.”  

Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen also expressed gratitude to the dedicated volunteers and mentors:  

“This program is a testament to the collective effort of our educators, leaders, and faith communities in guiding our students toward holistic development.”  

The City Government extends its heartfelt appreciation to all who participated and devoted their time to this meaningful cause. Together, General Trias continues to champion faith, unity, and youth development, aligned with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.  \
