ONE TAP FOR SAFETY: Carmona Launches SOS App
CARMONA, Cavite – August 28, 2026 – The City Government of Carmona has officially launched the SOS: BML Community App, a mobile application designed to provide residents with faster and more efficient emergency reporting. The initiative highlights the city’s commitment to modernizing public service through technology.
Developed under the leadership of the Office of the City Information Technology Officer (OCITO), the app serves as a direct digital line between residents and the local government. With just one tap, citizens can report accidents, emergencies, or community concerns, ensuring immediate attention from the proper authorities.
Mayor Dahlia Loyola emphasized that the project is part of Carmona’s broader vision of responsive governance. “This app is a reflection of our principle, Bayan Muna Lagi. It ensures that the welfare of our people is prioritized, especially during emergencies,” she said.
The app is available for free download on mobile devices: Android: SOS: BML Community App and iOS: BML Carmona App. By making the service accessible to all, Carmona strengthens its capacity to respond quickly and effectively to urgent situations.
Through this innovation, Carmona sets a strong example of how local governments can harness digital solutions to enhance safety and public service. The SOS: BML Community App symbolizes a safer, smarter, and more connected community.
