GenTri Officials Inaugurate New Multipurpose Building in Brgy. Pasong Kawayan II

General Trias City, Cavite – July 18, 2025 A new chapter of progress begins in Barangay Pasong Kawayan II as the local government of General Trias proudly inaugurated and blessed its newly constructed Multipurpose Building—a symbol of unified leadership and responsive public service.

The ceremony, held was led by Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” A. Ferrer IVCongressman Antonio “Ony” A. FerrerVice Mayor Jonas Porto Labuguen, and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod. Together, they unveiled the priority project aimed at enhancing community access to essential services and providing a functional venue for various barangay and city-level activities.

The event began with a solemn blessing ceremony, invoking God’s favor and protection over the building and all the programs that will take place within its walls. This was followed by the ribbon-cutting and unveiling, which marked the official opening of the structure.

In his message, Mayor Ferrer highlighted the importance of accessible infrastructure in uplifting the lives of citizens.

Ang gusaling ito ay hindi lamang konkretong proyekto, kundi simbolo ng ating pagkakaisa at malasakit sa bawat pamilyang GenTriano, he said.

Cong. Ony Ferrer emphasized continued investments in grassroots development while Vice Mayor Labuguen lauded the collective efforts that made the project possible, saying it is a true reflection of their commitment to building a more progressive General Trias.
