Imus Charts a Unified Path Forward: Launch of the 2026–2028 Executive Legislative Agenda

As part of its commitment to inclusive and strategic governance, the City Government of Imus has officially initiated the formulation of the 2026–2028 Executive Legislative Agenda (ELA), in partnership with the Sangguniang Panlungsod and key city officials.

Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula led the meeting, which began with a presentation of the State of Local Governance Summary—a comprehensive overview of the city’s current status, accomplishments, challenges, and areas for improvement. This was followed by sectoral discussions where representatives from various fields shared insights, needs, and proposals to help shape the city’s priorities for the coming years.

Mayor Advincula emphasized, “The Executive Legislative Agenda is a vital tool to ensure stronger collaboration between the executive and legislative branches. Through this, we can set a clear direction and accelerate progress toward the aspirations of every Imuseño.”

The ELA serves as a roadmap for effective coordination between city departments, aiming to deliver responsive, efficient, and people-centered governance. With well-defined goals and strategies, it strengthens the city’s capacity to implement development programs and respond to community needs.

More than a planning document, the ELA reflects the city’s collective vision, shared responsibility, and unwavering commitment to uplift the lives of its citizens.
